  • A Woman Holding a Liver: Winner of Best Presentation by a non-Student First-time Presenter at 2016 Oxford Symposium on Food and Cookery

My performance presentation at this year's Oxford Symposium on Food and Cookery, 'A Woman Holding a Liver' won the prize of Best Presentation by a non-Student First-time Presenter.

'A Woman Holding a Liver’ consisted of a contextual paper followed by a live examination of a freshly acquired lamb’s liver. Collectively, audience/participants chose the question, ‘Will the UK would invoke article 50?’ Undergoing a divination ritual based on ancient Mesopotamian and Greek extispicy methods, the liver responded with ‘no’.

The theme of this year’s symposium was Offal: Rejected and Reclaimed foods.
